... as you may have heard, we've had a very hot summer on Canada's west coast this year, abnormally so, with devastating fires ravaging large areas of British Columbia, the province where I live... In light of this, I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend most of my summer in the province's coastal region at our place on the lake where, albeit very hot at times, was spared, for the most part, from the very poor air quality and the hazy, often apocalyptic-looking skies which plagued a lot of the province for a lot of the summer. Given the heat, I spent most of my days outdoors, cooling off in the lake or tinkering in my garden where I often found myself seeking refuge in the shade...
However, the little time I spent indoors has meant little progress on putting together fabric bundles of the patchwork I featured back in my July post; I said in that post that the bundles would be coming soon into my Etsy shop, something I was hoping to do back then in midsummer because of the very summery nature of the patchwork itself!... Oh well, while I'm a bit late, I have finally assembled a bunch of these bundles...
I have called this new patchwork design clothesline blooms as I think it fittingly describes this fabric assortment of which all the floral squares are cut from yummy vintage sheeting, which back in the day adorned many a clothesline!
My plan is to stock my Etsy shop with clothesline blooms bundles by the end of this week and, just like my Flower-ish bundle, they will be part of my Stitch and Give fundraising venture (all bundle sales will go to supporting schoolchildren in need via Backpack Buddies). If you're interested in possibly purchasing a bundle, I will post here and on Instagram as soon as I have listed them in my shop. Thanks so much for popping by!...
Hey! I love your ideas here to help others and craft! I still have my pillowcases you made from 10 years ago and they are good as new !!
