... flowers, everywhere -- a much needed visual boost for me right now as we are heading into what some people are calling our darkest winter yet...
So yes, as I promised back in September, a floral medley all sewn up, backed by a lovely linen fabric, dressing up one of the beds at the lake...
The linen backing, which I unfortunately forgot to take a photo of, is in a lovely shade of natural grey; it is all a bit quirky though, as I only realized once I was ready to sew it to the cotton batting and patchwork top that it wasn't wide enough and therefore needed to be pieced! The three layers are all tied together with some lovely linen yarn which I thought would nicely complement the linen back, and which you can see here,...

So, if you might also be in need of a floral boost right about now, I will be stocking my Etsy shop with bundles of squares needed to make this patchwork at the beginning of November, when I plan to fully reopen my shop...
