...there goes another month and we're all that much closer to summer!... While I've been meaning to sit down and write a proper post for the last two weeks, I always seem to get diverted away from my blog... Perhaps it's because I have been trying to become more engaged on Instagram of late which does seem to take up a lot of the screen time I try to ration myself to in a day... Anyhow, I'm still around (and I hope you are too!), and while I don't have time for a meatier post at the moment, I thought I would say a quick Hello! and show you a few highlights from my last two months by way of my little collage...
As you can see, wool has been a common denominator, whether it be in the Harris Tweed shop on the Isle of Harris, in the weaving studio of Adabrock Weaving Company on Lewis, in my scrumptious 100% Canadian made loot acquired at Fibres West, in my lovely apothecary cabinet which now holds the fruits of a lengthy yarn sorting exercise, or in my quest for a simple four-petal floral crochet design... And to go along with my woolly highlights, a hairy Highland Cow, a statuesque Lewis Chessman, a stunning beach and an impressive castle all spotted on an amazing February visit to the Isle of Lewis and Harris and, last but not least, a bit of Canadian West Coast shoreline splendor near Tofino, BC, found their way onto my collage, deservedly so I think!... Oops, and I almost forgot, most importantly, some soothing downtime: crocheting trims on pillowcases with the yummiest of linen yarns!... Yup, it has been a GREAT couple of months in my little rose hippy world! 'Hope you've also had a good February and March, and thank you so much for your great response to my Cupboard Sale and, of course, for popping by!...
Beautiful yarn storage...
