...from my absolutely lovely summer at the lake, this year made so much better by the planting of a veggie and berry garden... I know I promised you in my last post that my next post would be dedicated to this new garden of mine, but, well, things didn't quite go as planned: with two weeks left at the lake, a bone dry phone data plan due to trying to solve a problem with one of my social media accounts (which thankfully got solved!...) meant zero internet access ( I use my phone as a hotspot when I'm there), and hence no posting of any kind. Oh well,... that's far from being such a bad thing when you're at a lake surrounded by so much natural beauty, something I keep telling my kids who would love to have unlimited internet access at the lake just like they do in the city! Anyhow, now that I'm back in the city, the garden post is in the works; I just have to take time away from my pillowcases to go through the zillion photos I took of my garden! Here's a little sneak peek though...
So yes, I have been focused on my crochet-trimmed pillowcases lately, making new ones which I've been listing in my Etsy shop; I've already listed the batch I showed you in my last post of which some have already sold out (thank you!), and which I will be making more of and re-listing shortly. I've also started to list the ones in the pile you can see in this post and I hope to have them all listed very soon... I do also have a few more new pillowcases that I still have to match a trim to and, as soon as I do, I'll post about them. At the same time, I've been putting together cushions like these which I will tell you more about very soon; I've also been working with my stash of vintage linens, some of which I showed you hanging on the clothesline in my last post... Yup, summer may be coming to an end, but autumn, that wonderful season that brings out "super-crafty-me" (like I'm sure it does out of a lot of you!), is just beginning, so do stay tuned and, as always, thank you so much for visiting!...
Love how you've managed to incorporate fabric in the veg patch! And gorgeous piles of pillows, as always
