...I hope this post finds you all enjoying the change of season which has most definitely started to happen out here on our Canadian west coast; our long hot and dry summer has made way for cooler days, very stormy and rainy at times, but also deliciously sunny and crisp like only a perfect autumn day can be ... Despite having had a fabulous summer at the lake, I'm not feeling too glum about the change in weather because I love autumn, for isn't it just the best time of the year for cozying up indoors with favourite fabric and yarn and a head full of crafty ideas?! As you can see in the photos, I've started doing just that, making cushions with some of my favourite vintage florals...
They're still a bit of a work in progress as I'm not quite 100% happy with their design; there is a crochet element to them which I will show you as soon as I'm done tweaking the design, but that won't be until October because I'm off, very soon, on a little adventure... I'll tell you more about it upon my return to blogging, probably in the second week of October. (In case you're wondering, I have temporarily closed my Etsy shop which I will re-open right after I get back with some new pillowcase listings.) In the meantime, I wish you a happy end to your month of September, whether your days are getting shorter and cooler like ours, or longer and warmer... Thanks for popping by!
The pillows look fab already! Enjoy your adventure! I look forward to your return. We're enjoying the cooling off, the summer here was very hot and humid. Bring on fall!
