a teeny, tiny peek...

 

 

...into my bedding collection is all I have for you today because I didn't get as far as I had hoped this week with all my photo-taking... When I looked at the weather forecast last week, it was meant to be clear and sunny early this week which I figured would give me nice light in the room where I was planning on taking the photos; however, this early forecast was rather off and it only really got sunny for a few hours in the middle of the day yesterday, at which point I quickly pulled everything out and started taking photos. (I don't always wait for sunny and clear days to take photos, but because I have so many bedding items to photograph, I figured that doing it with good light conditions would save me time later when photo-editing.) So, I set up the sherbert dreams... coverlet along with the woolly patchwork blanket on the bed and, as I started playing around with different pillowcase/cushion combinations to go with these two covers, I suddenly got overwhelmed as I realized that there were so many possible ways to set it up because I made so many different pillowcases and cushions and (yikes!) there would be no end to all the photo-taking!

Eventually, once I managed to take a deep breath and calm down, I realized that I should just to do it all in a piecemeal way by focusing on a batch of items at a time: I will take photos of the items combined in different ways which I will share with you and then list some of these in my Etsy shop as I go along. (This might all seem pretty obvious to most of you, but I have to admit I was in a pretty tetchy mood yesterday!...) So, I've done my first little batch and, as soon as I'm done writing this post, I will continue choosing photos to show you from the ones I took which I will then post in the next few days...
