...to make the patchworks above are back in my shop here and here. (If you're new to my blog and would like to know more about the patchworks and bundles, I have been posting about them starting about back here...) It took me a little while to re-list them as I realized that I had to find a substitute for one of the fabrics I used in both patchworks for the simple reason that I seem to have run out of it. I was sure I still had a lot of the fabric left, but I guess I was wrong because, for the life of me, I can't find any more of it! As you can see, I've drawn an arrow to the fabric in question in the photo below of the sherbert dreams... patchwork,
...as well as in the photo below of the buttercup dreams... patchwork.
I've replaced it with this pretty floral print in the sherbert dreams... patchwork:
If you look below, I think it fits nicely with the rest of the patchwork (the arrow is pointing to the new fabric square)...
As far as the buttercup dreams... patchwork, I chose this yummy feedsack repro print...
...which, I think, works well with the look of the patchwork (the arrow is pointing to the new fabric square)...
Now, I already did make one substitution in the buttercup dreams... patchwork which I mention in the bundle listing here, but I made that one because I thought the replacement fabric added a bit more zing! to the patchwork than the fabric I originally chose (a bit of an afterthought...). Depending on the interest in these fabric bundles, I might make a few more substitutions as I run out of some of the fabrics, but I'll make sure to post about any such changes. I have so many fabrics to choose from in my reserves that I honestly don't think I'll have any problems replacing any of them while still staying close to the original look of the patchworks! I'll be back very soon with a post about what I've been up to here at the lake, so I hope you pop by again soon... Thanks for visiting!
That is one of the prettiest quilts that I have ever seen, it's absolutely gorgeous!
Have a great weekend,
