...by Barcelona's many facades is how I think I felt throughout a lot of my stay in this very fair Catalonian city. To begin with, I am a facade-loving kind of person (for me, strolling through a city while looking up at facades is right up there with vintage treasure hunting, fabric shop browsing and sampling salted caramel gelato -- my flavour of the summer!) so Barcelona, as I discovered throughout my week there, is my kind of city... Fanciful, audacious, elegant, ancient, futuristic, eclectic, eccentric, truly amazing in all their variety are Barcelona's facades. So if you are planning on visiting Barcelona, most of all, I would recommend touring the city by simply walking through its many different neighbourhoods, all so very accessible. So, what do you think?! Next post, I will share with you some of my favourite shots from the French part of our trip as well as hopefully a few sewing projects I've been working on at the cottage. I haven't really had too much time for crafting as of yet (nor blogging, for that matter!), since we've been enjoying incredible summer weather with lots of our friends who have come up to spend some time with us at the lake; however, I have a few quiet days coming up during which I hope to sew up a few things for the cottage... I'm from Madrid but love, love Barcelona and go there a couple of times a year for work.
Have you been in any of their yarn, patchwork shops ?

I think summer is being blog and craft wise quiet for most of us, enjoy the rest of it ?
Have not seen that ice-cream flavour yet. . . sounds good !
