...I finally trimmed these ruffle skirts that I've had lying around since before Christmas... I've been such a one-pony-show with my pillowcases (they're just much too fun to make!) that I haven't touched any of my other ongoing projects. These ruffle skirts are now being sold at one of my absolute favorite Vancouver shops, Barefoot Contessa, (and blog) which is all very exciting for me! (For all you Vancouver locals: I was just at the Commercial Drive Barefoot Contessa this weekend and they had just received some beautiful new spring stock -- Yum!!)
Back to the pillowcases... I've been receiving a ton of emails asking me for instructions on how to trim the pillowcases which I had been answering, but at this point, I'm having a hard time keeping up! I'm therefore working on putting together crochet-trimmed pillowcases 101 instructions to answer all your queries... you might have to be a little patient with me though because I do have a lot going on at the moment. I have also made a whole new batch of pillowcases in yummy new colors and patterns ready to stock my Etsy shop -- I just have to take some photos...
Thank you to all of you who commented to
my last post and included favorite online yarn supply sources (there
are some great cotton yarn shop links that I didn't know about!). If you
know anymore, please keep sharing with us in my comments -- I will
eventually compile them into a list which I will post in my sidebar...
I will be back with more pillowcases very soon!...
Beautiful! Love the colours and the fabrics.

Gorgeous ruffles, love the colours. Any plans to include a crocheted edge on them?
Love the pillowcases and will keep an eye out for the tutorial.

That skirt is absolutely splendid? Will there be a tutorial for it. If not I shall go hunting for a similar pattern. Can anybody suggest one?
