...what can I say?...I like flowers and I love seeing them everywhere! Now that these crochet pillows are finished, I am working on pillowcases to match all this -- I will show you soon, but first, more of the above:
Just in case you're wondering, all this happy riot of yarn color comes from scrap yarn lying around my house and abandoned yarn balls found in thrift shops...
They are completely gorgeous! You have such talent! I love the patchwork too - the colours and prints are beautiful. I really wish I could crochet though xx
Wow, those pillows are just amazing! How long did it take you to learn to crochet like that! I wish I could crochet, I think I will learn, you have inspired me!
I love your blog and I hope you dont mind, but I have added your blog to my blogroll on my site. I am so looking forward to reading more of your blog.
Have a fabulous weekend
Take Care
Melanie xx
They are completely wonderful. The pattern /design itself is divine, but I especially admire your ability to mix all the exactly right colours together. And I love the back of your cushions, too, so lovely with the printed fabric filling the 'gap'. Very very beautiful!
Have a great sunday and enjoy much more flowers in your garden,
Suzi
Hi there, I was just wondering do you know anyone who is looking for a swap partner? I am longing to join this swapping lark, so any help you could give me would be greatly appriiciated.
I LOVE these pillows! I saw them in the sewmamasew flikr group . . . then I saw your felted flower pillows and thought "Is that the same person?!" You are so talented. Your blog is like eye candy for me. I love it!! I used to live in Paris as a child and so seeing your beautiful photos just inspires me. :)
I am absolutely in love with your crocheted pillows - thanks to Sew, Mama, Sew for leading me to you! I've just finished a similar pillow, but nowhere near as gorgeous as yours. Love the joining method - the contrast yarn really makes it all pop. Beautiful, beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration.
I just love these pillows. They remind me of the granny squares my grandma used to make, but so much better with your yummy bright colors. Will you share the crochet pattern or tell us where to find it???
I found your blog via Sew, Mama, Sew (congratulations!) and just fell in love with your crocheted flower pillows. I love the flowers and I love the colors that you chose. I'd love to try some but have never crocheted. There are a lot of books out there...is there one or two you would recommend to help a beginner get started? Thanks!
These are just gorgeous! Congatulations on the Flower Power contest - well deserved!! I'm going to have to give those a try...they would look darling in my daughters' rooms!!
Beautiful :)
