Happy Valentine's Day!...

...and thank you for your most amazing response to my babushka Etsy sale yesterday!...You have wowed me again! I will be sending the babushkas off on their big journeys in the next couple of days...

As you can see, I haven't been able to stop making heart pillows... 'so much fun mixing up all the colors, yarns and sweater textures! I will be giving one to each of my children today, and then,... well then, I think it's high time for a blog giveaway to thank you with all my heart for all the support you pass on to me through all your comments and readership!.... I will pack up and send off the babushkas, and then I'll be back with my "I heart you giveaway" very soon.......'cross my heart!

...Thank you so much for all your "get well" wishes and very kind words about the heart pillow I showed in my last post... Wow! To those of you who were curious about how I made the pillow: I cut out two heart shapes out of an old cable wool sweater which I felted, blanket-stitched the two hearts together, and then crocheted a scalloped trim around it... so much fun, that I've made more since which I'll show you very soon...

Now, back to the babushkas... as you can see I have taken photos of them now that they are plumper and all finished. I wasn't quite able to fit all of them into my little roundup shown above, so I left out a few that are very similar to some of the ones show above. I will be listing the majority of these in my Etsy shop as soon as I take photos of each one of them (I did promise a few from this batch to some friends...) I will tell you exactly as to when I will be listing them in my next post.

My emails are still mostly unanswered because I've gone from being sick myself to having sick children at home... the kind of "sick" that starts in the gut and ends up all over the floor...Ugh!  Anyhow, I hope this particular episode is behind us and I can hopefully list the babushkas later on this week...
