...As I mentioned in my earlier post, I've finished my coverlet -- it's bound with a lovely Lecien woven and backed with soft cotton chenille -- and I'm presently crocheting my flower squares together to make cushion tops. I ended up taking loads of photos of my progress in both areas, and I've decided that, instead of editing them to only a few photos and presenting them to you in one large collage, I will show you more of the photos in smaller groupings over my next few posts -- less editing time for me and more photo viewing for you in the next days... everyone's happy!
So here goes... details of flowers and binding:
As some of you have asked for the pattern of the flower squares, I will put one together and include it in one of my next few posts. I'll be back very soon...
everything you make is so lovely and these are beautiful as usual

Lovely work. How do you manage to get such a neat finish on your binding when sewing it on by machine? I'd love to know so I could save the time it takes to stitch it by hand on the reverse side.

I just wanted to tell you that I am delighted to have discovered your blog! The colour combinations you use are beautiful, and I loved seeing the photos of Paris! I did that trip this summer with my kids and we discovered many of the same things and places as you. Thank you :)

Hi Beata! I'm pretty sure that crochet is the one thing I'll never figure out how to do, but I LOVE how sweet and happy your flowers look! Good work. :-)

You mentioned the binding is by Lecien. Is this the linen binding on the edge of the blankets? Does is come as a binding or did you have to make it?
