... I'm off to school tomorrow with a pile of owl shapes cut out of black felt, a jar full of buttons, skeins of black embroidery floss, and a tin filled with needles, pins, scissors and other sewing supplies; my daughter Alexandra's teacher invited me to put together a little Halloween sewing project with the class, so I came up with a simple stuffed owlie pattern. I hope to show you more of the project as the week goes on, as well as the Halloween costumes I'm working on for my kids. I'm thinking that the next few days leading up to spooky Friday will be a bit crazy for me, but hopefully I'll have a few moments here and there to snap some photos...
