I'm finally getting around to putting together fabrics for some summery girl's ruffle skirts. I've been enjoying looking at this pretty little pile so much though, that I just feel like leaving it as is --- do you know what I mean?!...There's a bit of everything in it: some Sis Boom, Heather Bailey and old Amy Butler, some vintage sheeting and some remnants I've had lying around forever!
I've been making girl's multi-print three-tiered ruffle skirts for about four years now and I usually try to make at least two big batches a year: one for the fall/winter season and the other, for the spring/summer season. This particular batch is so overdue -- I'm scheduled to have a stall at our local farmers' market on May 19th...Yikes!...'Got to get to work!!
i do know what you mean - that is one gorgeous stack of fabric!
