...and it's old world charm...
Perhaps Boston struck a chord in me because it reminds me a lot of Montreal - I'm a native of Montreal and, despite living on the West Coast for over 10 years now and enjoying so much of what it has to offer, I have to confess that my heart still belongs to Montreal... Both cities were founded within years of each other - Boston, in 1630 and Montreal, in 1642 -, both are steeped in their respective nation's history which in turn has left an enduring and graceful mark on their downtown neighborhoods and both, in their own very distinctive way, have matured into highly cultured cities...hmmmm....
Well, I could go on and on, but there is work to be done this week as I'd like to make a few more things for Maternal Creations - Art Show and Craft Fair which will be held this coming weekend at Pomegranate Community Midwives Center (love that name!) and which I've been fortunate enough to be invited to by the lovely Lehe Elarar, one of the center's co-founding midwives. If you're within range and have a moment to spare, I would love to see you there!
