Perhaps because I'm such a decor magazine hog, I was quite fascinated by Posie Gets Cozy 's post about the extent to which a magazine stylist can alter a room/house for a photo shoot. For one, it made me wonder - as I often do - if there really is such a thing as minimalist decor beyond designers/stylists' photo shoots...
Anyhow, very shortly after reading about all this, I found out that one of my little creations found its way into a photo shoot of the October issue of Canadian House and Home ! (I should mention that this is a first for me.) Despite the fact that you may have to squint to actually see it - it's one of my little burlap bags which were in my post about the farmer's market - I was quite thrilled about it all. The little bag ended up in this shoot via Molly who owns the very lovely children's furnishing/furniture store in Vancouver called "Molly's Furniture Salad" (website coming soon) where most of the things I make can be purchased.
Okay, so now I can't help but wonder how many things, along with my little bag, are only there for the photo shoot...
Squint and you might see it! - (Hint: it's on the floor...)
Congratulations on your first product placement. I hope that this is the first of many to come as your aesthetic eye is amazingly astute and your beautiful designs deserve to be shown off. I think every young girl (and young at heart) should own something of yours as they are truly magical.
